  • Using a mix of assisted and unassisted stationary and dynamic training for proper forward skating including bubbles, scissoring, turning techniques, safely stopping and falling.
  • Not eligible for skatepark.
  • For students who have tried rollerblading and have at least 2-4 weeks of experience.
  • Using a mix of unassisted stationary and dynamic training for proper forward blading including, backwards blading, more advanced turning techniques, and additional stopping and falling techniques.
  • Not eligible for skatepark.
  • For students who have a strong command of the beginner basics and are ready to learn more advanced tricks.
  • Using dynamic training to improve basics tricks , refining backwards blading, crossovers, one foot blading,  jumps, 180 turns, and much more.
  • Eligible for skatepark.
  • For students who have a strong command of  intermediate level tricks and are ready to string together lines, trick combinations and even competition training.
  • Improving intermediate tricks and consistency to create trick lines.
  • Eligible for skatepark.

checkList to prepare for ROLLERBLADING

  1. Be sure to bring your properly sized and well-maintained trick ROLLERBLADES and protective gear. Or rent them from us at least 24 hours in advance of your lesson via the Sk8Gym Online Rental Shop
  2. Check rollerblade parts are working correctly; wheels rolling smoothly, cushions not disintegrated if vintage, straps laces not frayed.
  3. Try blades on prior to first lesson to ensure correct sizing and proper fit.
  4. Arrive early to suit up blades and protective gear before the start of the lesson.
  5. Optional protective gear: Bumsaver, mouth guard
  6. Socks: Wear cushioned crew socks to avoid blisters
  7. Bring plenty of drinking water
  8. Apply sunscreen prior to your outdoor lesson/class
